Submit a Book Proposal

Thank you for inquiring about Restyn’s procedures and preferences. We revise them periodically; please feel free to request updates as needed.

As the leader in the Second Advent Christian™ publishing industry, Restyn remains privately held while seeking to be creative and visionary in sharing the gospel of the Lord God Jesus Christ with the world. Our goal is to minister to the spiritual needs of people with resources that provide clear teaching consistent with the Second Advent Christian™ movement. We do not hold a particular denominational or ecclesiastical view but publish books that express biblically supportable approaches to life in the tradition of Second Advent Christianity™

We're currently accepting unsolicited book proposals only for the following categories:

• Fiction (romance, historical, suspence, contemporary, etc.)
• Christian Living (home and family, inspirational, Christian growth, etc.)
• Devotionals (prayer, bible study, meditation, etc.)
• Academic (textbooks in the areas of Second Advent Christian theology, Biblical studies, church history, etc.)
• Reference (commentaries, handbooks, encyclopedias, etc.)
• Professional (books and resources for pastors and ministry professionals).

A proposal for one of these categories should be saved as a Microsoft Word document (unless it contains Hebrew, Greek, or any other language other than English, in which case it should be saved as an Adobe PDF document with embedded fonts) and sent electronically as an attachment to , putting the appropriate category in the subject line.

Always send a copy of your manuscript or proposal. Do not send the original!

Your proposal should include:

• the book title
• a one-page summary of the proposed book (including why you feel it must be published and what its unique contribution would be to the reader)
• a table of contents
• a brief synopsis of each chapter
• your personal biographical sketch (including your qualifications to write the book)

The proposal should be concise and professional. If we're interested in reviewing more material from you, we'll respond within three months.

All unsolicited proposals or manuscripts received outside of the above instructions, either hard copy or electronically, will be discarded.

All hard copy manuscripts that are not accepted for publication will be discarded unless they are accompanied by a self-addressed, postage-paid envelope or mailer. Once again, please do not send your original manuscript.
